VisitBritain has announced a new fund to help destination management companies and inbound tour operators promote tourism to Britain.
The £300,000 Destination Management Company (DMC) and Inbound Tour Operator Amplification and Distribution Fund will award grants of between £20,000 and £40,000 to DMCs and inbound tour operators to cover the cost of sales and marketing activity for the promotion of Britain in the target markets of France, Germany and The United States, aimed at stimulating inbound travel in 2022 and supporting the sector’s post-pandemic recovery.
Supported types of sales and marketing activity include creative content development, PR or social media agency fees, and the production of new content within tour operators’ programmes.
The deadline for applications is 11.59am on the 13th January 2022.
