£10 Million Fund to Transform the Services of Night Shelters (England)

Community and voluntary groups in England working directly with people experiencing rough sleeping in a Night Shelter can apply for a share of £10 million in funding to transform their services.

Grants of up to £100,000 will be available through three funding streams until March 2025 to advance the development of Shelters and increase the variety and quality of services they provide.

These include;

the revenue stream,

the capital stream,

and a new Capital Incubator fund.

The funding is made available by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, working in partnership with Homeless Link and Housing Justice, through the Night Shelter Transformation Fund which closes to applications on the 26th August 2022.

To find out more about the Fund and how to apply, Homeless Link and Housing Justice are running a series of webinars:

  • 3rd August: for Local Authorities considering their winter planning
  • 4th August: as an introduction to the Fund for interested organisations
  • 9th August: Webinars and Q&A discussion to explore details of Revenue and Capital Funds.
