Charities Invited to Apply for “AI for All” Funding and Mentorship (UK)

The Different Foundation, a UK-registered charity launched in 2024, has opened applications for its “AI for All” programme, aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in artificial intelligence.

Designed to ensure AI innovation benefits all communities, the scheme offers UK charities a one-off grant of up to £2,500 alongside four hours of expert mentorship from AI professionals. Funding will support projects tackling digital bias, amplifying underrepresented voices, and advancing inclusive technology solutions.

Applicants must be registered charities operating within the UK, with an annual turnover between £150,000 and £1.15 million and a team of one to ten people, including part-time staff, volunteers, and trustees.

The closing date for applications is 30 September 2025. Successful applicants will not only receive financial support but also tailored strategic guidance, designed to help them integrate AI tools responsibly and inclusively into their work.
