Funding of £2,000 Available to Address Challenges Facing Local Communities (UK - Various Locations)

The Changemakers in Turbulent Times programme is offering training and seed funding of up to £2,000 for individuals working towards social change in Cardiff, Glasgow, Belfast, Newham in London, Slough, or Bradford. This 10-week initiative is designed to support and connect individuals working towards social change and provide creative solutions to the challenges they face.

The programme is comprised of six virtual and four in-person sessions, and will run two cohorts during 2023. During these sessions, well-known change makers and local community connectors and facilitators will lead workshops, providing guidance and support to participants.

One of the key objectives of the Changemakers in Turbulent Times programme is to address challenges facing many communities such as isolation, lack of funding, and the need for positive leadership. The programme provides support for those who want to make a positive impact in their community and aims to resource change makers, promoting healthier communities by bridging divisions in society.

The deadline for applications for the 2nd cohort is the 1st May 2023.
