The Granada Foundation has launched a new funding round for projects that encourage and promote the study, practice and appreciation of science and the arts.

Awards of £500 to £10,000 are made three times a year (with the average award being around £2,000) to organisations (preferably with charitable status) for imaginative and innovative proposals which will make the North West of England (including, Cheshire Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and Cumbria) a richer and more attractive place in which to live and work.

The grants are usually for projects in art, architecture, cinema, dance, drama, literature, music, and science.

The next closing date for applications is the 16th November 2023.
