Funding Programme to Test Ways of Keeping Children Safe from Crime & Violence (England & Wales)

The Youth Endowment Fund, in partnership with BBC Children in Need and the Hunter Foundation, has opened a new multi-million-pound funding round to test how multi-agency partnerships can protect children and young people from violence and exploitation outside the home.

This round, which has a theme of ‘a supportive home,’ will provide funding of up to £500,000 for up to five local authorities in England and Wales working in partnership with teams from across youth justice services, social care, the police, mental health service, probation, schools and local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations.

Partnerships must work closely with children, young people, parents and carers to design, deliver and review services that are built around their needs.

The closing date for applications is the 16th May 2023.
