Funding to Enhance Tree Planting Stocks & Woodland Resilience (England)

In an effort to meet net zero by 2050, the UK government is making £4 million in funding available for innovative projects that enhance tree planting stocks and woodland resilience.

Applications for both the Woods into Management Forestry Innovation Fund and the Tree Production Innovation Fund are now being accepted to boost nature regeneration efforts, promote biodiversity, and support innovative approaches to tree production, tree health, and woodland resilience through increased and improved active management of woodlands.

The funding is being delivered by the Forestry Commission which will accept applications to the Tree Production Innovation Fund until the 9th May 2023, and the Woods into Management Forestry Innovation Fund until the 15th May 2023.
