To help celebrate Chemistry Week 2023, funding of up to £500 is available to celebrate the chemical sciences within the theme of “Chemistry making the world a better place”. 

The funding is being made available through the Royal Society of Chemistry and is available both to (RSC) members and non-members based in the UK or Republic of Ireland. However, international applicants are not eligible.

The grants are intended for events taking place in November 2023, with Chemistry Week (5 - 11 November) as the focal point.

Eligible applicants must be 18 years or older, and priority will be given to RSC members, registered ChemSocs, and Teach Chemistry registered schools. The grant is limited to one per individual/group, and unsuccessful applicants should not reapply unless invited to do so.

The final application deadline is Monday 2nd October 2023. Applicants will be notified within three weeks of each deadline.
