Fund to Help Community Hubs Cover Rising Energy Costs (Greater Manchester)

Grants of up to £2,500 are available to help community centres and hubs across Greater Manchester with rising energy costs.

Funding from the Together Energy Fund is intended to improve the resilience of community centres and other multi-use indoor community spaces by helping to cover the increased costs of gas and electricity bills, particularly over the upcoming winter period.

The funding can only be used for direct energy supply costs.

The fund is open to groups and organisations, which meet the following criteria:

  • registered charities, community groups, CIO’s, CIC’s, and other not-for-profit organisations
  • Based in one of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester

Priority will be given to smaller organisations.

The funding is made available by Forever Manchester in partnership with Together Money.

The deadline for applications is midday on the 21st September 2023.
