£10 Million Fund to Support Suicide Prevention Services (England)

The Department of Health and Social Care has made £10 million in funding available to support suicide prevention activities delivered in England by voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.

The Suicide Prevention Grant Fund will award grants of up to £750,000 to support organisations during 2023/24 and 2024/25.

The fund will help organisations to configure their services and interventions to better meet the increased demand seen in recent years.

Priority will be given to activity targeted at high-risk groups such as:

  • Children and young people 
  • Middle-aged men  
  • People who have previously self-harmed 
  • People in contact with mental health services 
  • People in contact with the justice system  
  • Autistic people 
  • Pregnant women and new mothers 

The deadline for applications is 11:55pm on the 1st October 2023.
