Grants of up to £100,000 Available to Develop Products and Services that Help People Living with Dementia (UK)

Engineers, designers, developers, innovators, academics, entrepreneurs, or anyone with a good idea for a product or service that will transform the lives of people living with dementia can apply for a grant of up to £100,000.  The funding is being made available through the Alzheimer's Society’s Accelerator Programme, which aims to help develop innovative ideas and scale them up to support larger groups of people.

The programme offers a 12-month partnership that includes:

  • Up to £100,000 of funding
  • Expert innovation and dementia support for 12 months
  • Peer-to-peer learning with Alzheimer's Society's Innovation Collective
  • Opportunities to learn from people living with dementia through co-creation
  • Support during the application process

Applications are welcomed from teams or individuals at any stage of the product development journey, from a great idea that needs testing through to proven products that need a push to maximise their reach. Alzheimer's Society particularly welcomes applications from underrepresented groups such as people from black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities, and people with lived experience of dementia.

The application closing date is 4 October 2023. For more information and to apply, please visit the Alzheimer's Society website (link below).
