Cost of Living Fund Opens for Applications (Manchester)

Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations can apply for a share of £1 million of funding to provide immediate and long-term support to residents affected by the cost of living crisis. This grant, introduced by The Our Manchester Funds Programme Team, aims to support services that help build resilience, such as employability skills, accessing unclaimed benefits, and adult education.

The funding is available to VCFSE organisations that support:

  • people with long-term health conditions,
  • disabilities,
  • racial inequalities,
  • older people,
  • and residents in disadvantaged wards.

The closing date for applications is1pm on the 24th July 2024. Decisions will be made between August and September 2024, with activities starting on 1 October 2024 and expected to be completed by 31 October 2025.
