VCSE organisations in Greater Manchester can apply for a share of £40,000 in funding to support Cared for Children and Care Experienced Young People in voicing their needs in the care system.
The Salford CVS Shaping Care Fund aims to support voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations to engage with these groups to better understand what practical changes would make the most positive impact on their lives, and feedback their views to the Greater Manchester Regional Care Cooperative.
Grants of up to £10,000 are available to fund a wide range of creative projects, including:
- music
- art
- dance
- cooking workshops
- photography
- poetry
- gardening
- the use of green space
The grant can be used to pay for costs including:
- staff time
- freelance sessional input
- volunteer expenses
- venue hire
- refreshments
- equipment
- promotional materials
Partnership applications are welcome.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 12pm on the 15th July 2024.
