Inclusion Grants to Support Deaf & Disabled People (Greater Manchester)

Voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations in Greater Manchester are invited to apply for funding to improve accessibility and inclusion for d/Deaf and disabled people.

The Inclusion Grants programme, funded by GM Integrated Care Partnership and delivered by GMCVO, is expected to fund around six organisations with grants of between £7,500 and £15,000 to develop 12-month projects that will raise awareness of, and lead to change in the way that services, policies, practices, activities and events are created for d/Deaf and disabled people.

Applicants are asked to provide proposals for innovative projects that will encourage, embed or increase good practice around:

  • Listening to Deaf and/or disabled people and including them in the co-creation of services, policies, practices, events and activities
  • Joining up services so support is offered holistically, ensuring it is tailored to the need and preferences of the individual
  • Removing any ‘one size fits all’ approaches
  • Improving support for Deaf and/or disabled people wanting to take on volunteering opportunities

Ideal projects will be designed and led by d/Deaf and/or disabled people.

In the first instance, applicants should complete an enquiry and eligibility form. Those eligible to apply will be sent an application form.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 12th August 2024.
