Grants for Community Support & Skills Development (Greater Manchester)

Grassroot community groups in Greater Manchester can apply for grants of up to £1,000 to deliver projects that support those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis, as well as projects that provide education and skills development.

There is no limit to the type of request organisations can make to allow them to support their community.

Initiatives could, for example, include:

  • food banks
  • warm spaces
  • financial and welfare advice
  • baby banks
  • IT sessions
  • activities to improve employment opportunities
  • language classes

Applicants must be based in one of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester and have an annual income of less than £150,000.

The funding is made available through the Voicescape Community Fund which closes to applications at 12pm on the 2nd August 2024.
