Funding to Tackle Injustice and Structural Inequalities (UK)

Registered charities and organisations with charitable aims can apply for grants for projects that tackle injustice and structural inequality with the aim to create a more inclusive society. The funding is being made available through the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation’s Fairer Future grants programme.

Through the programme, the Foundation wants to support initiatives within five priority areas. These are:

  • arts and creativity making change;
  • children and young people's rights;
  • racial justice;
  • gender justice;
  • and migrant justice.

The Foundation are keen to work with those with experience of the issues being addressed.

The majority of grants are for three years or longer and can cover project and core costs.  Registered charities can also apply for unrestricted grants.

The minimum amount the Foundation offers is £30,000 and they have no maximum amount.

There are no application deadlines and applications can be submitted at any time.
